A tungsten bucking bar is a dense backing tool that absorbs a rivet gun’s force so the shop head of a solid rivet forms cleanly. Because tungsten is roughly 2.5× denser than steel, a tungsten bar packs the same bucking mass into a noticeably smaller block, meaning tighter access, less hand fatigue, and cleaner driven heads.
